God's Warriors

After I watched this series by CNN, I can't help but wonder what is it that is most important to each religion that drives them to be so zealous in what they do. For Islam, it would be purity and their intolerance of American (and Netherlands) secularism, for Judaism, it would be land, settlement, and Torah keeping, and for Christianity, it would be a reverse of American culture back to purity and influence of the government politics. Islam and Christianity thus have a similar goal in reversing the US life style of materialism, consumerism, and human indulgences. Islam's propensity to use violence is due to the provocations they experienced from Israel and the US. Israel is upset with the Palestinians because of the land they believe is theirs. US is backing Israel and that also fuels the hatred from the Muslims. Hmm .. isn't then US the real problem here? If US would stay out of the middle east, clean up its own land from all its secularism, at least the Christians will be happy, the Muslims may also be. That leaves the Jews. Now if they would just know that Jesus is the Messiah and has come and land has never been the concern of Jesus, the Jews will then stay out of Palestine, .. and there will be world peace! Why is life so complicated?

Perhaps rhetorical, but it's because It's (we're) fallen.
